چکیده

Abstract Pineapple is the most exported tropical fruit in world terms of volume. This study aimed to comprehensively analyze scientific publications on pineapple, with an emphasis agricultural sciences. 7,885 documents published between 1893 and 2022 (February 22nd), 2,350 which belonged sciences, were retrieved from Scopus-indexed database be analyzed using word pineapple. VOSviewer software was used for a bibliometric network analysis author keyword mapping. 78.2% articles, increase volume over time. The scientists 138 countries, India, United States, Brazil accumulating 36.2% total number. research has focused topics such as chemistry, food technology (primarily juice), use pineapple medicinal plant, clinical benefits its main enzyme (bromelain). Scientists chemical field reported more than biological areas due properties fruit. Our results indicate that few studies focus rural extension or transfer growers. More efforts should made help local growers improve their yields attain sustainable environmentally friendly approach production this

Cloning and Expression Analysis of a PISTILLATA Homologous Gene from Pineapple (Ananas comosus L. Merr)

PISTILLATA (PI)-like genes are crucial regulators of flowering in angiosperms. A homologue of PI, designated as AcPI (Genbank accession number HQ717796), was isolated from pineapple cultivar Comte de Paris by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and rapid amplification of cDNA ends (RACE). The cDNA sequence of AcPI is 907 bp in length and contains an open reading frame of 59...

Characterization of Phosphoenolpyruvate Carboxykinase from Pineapple Leaves Ananas comosus (L.) Merr.

Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase has been partially purified from pineapple (Ananas comosus [L.]) leaves. Specific activities obtained show it to be a major activity in this tissue. Above 15 C, the respective activation energies for decarboxylation and carboxylation are 13 and 12 kcal/mol. Below 15 C, there are discontinuities in Arrhenius plots with an associated large increase in activation ...

In vitro Environmental Factors Controlling Root Morphological Traits of Pineapple (Ananas comosus L. Merr)

Abstract—Developing our knowledge of when pineapple roots grow can lead to improved water, fertilizer applications, and more precise culture management. This paper presents current understanding of morphological traits in pineapple roots, highlighting studies using incubation periods and various solid MS media treated with different sucrose concentrations and pH, which directly assess in vitro ...

Micropropagation and Growth of in Vitro Pineapple (ananas Comosus L. Merr) in Iran

Although, several pineapple micropropagation protocols have already been published, significant improvement could be achieved, if the stages of in vitro culture were better defined. Our work concerned several experiments aiming at the mass production of high quality plantlets. Tissue culture experiments were therefore conducted to develop rapid multiplication procedures for Ananas comosus L. (M...

Polysaccharide composition of unlignified cell walls of pineapple [Ananas comosus (L.) Merr.] fruit.

The polysaccharides of cell walls isolated from the fleshy, edible part of the fruit of the monocotyledon pineapple [Ananas comosus (L.) Merr.] (family Bromeliaceae) were analyzed chemically. These cell walls were derived mostly from parenchyma cells and were shown histochemically to be unlignified, but they contained ester-linked ferulic acid. The analyses indicated that the noncellulosic poly...
